Guideline: The Egg Drop Challenge
Challenge: Create a prototype for air-dropping medicines using a raw egg and a
few
materials that can withstand a 10-foot drop.
You have 30 minutes.
The rules:
- Name your device and come up with three benefits and three features
of your solution.
- You cannot not borrow or copy another team’s design. Please stay at
your table.
- One member of each team will present their device. The moderator
will drop the device.
Criteria:
- Structure –Ability to protect the egg from a 10-foot fall.
- Aesthetics –The overall attractiveness of the design.
- Economics –You will be given extra points for using fewer supplies.
